I am a 29-year-old small town farm girl who simply loves photography. Even at a young age, I had always taken an extra moment to take in our gorgeous Saskatchewan skies, to stop and admire the snowflakes falling to the ground, and to watch the flowers bloom.

One winter morning while waiting for the bus, I captured a photo of the sun coming up behind the barn in our yard. I entered that photo into the Canadian Wheat Board calendar contest, where it was chosen as the photo for the month of February. I was 14 years old and incredibly proud. I guess you could say that's where my hobby-career began...
